That's right! A surprise game I've been working on. A life simulation, where you play a short story writer just trying to make it in the crazy world of publishing. Simple, fun, addicting rogue like style game play that combines SNES style pixel art graphics, text adventure style gameplay, and rogue like elements. Fun, addicting, life affirming. Made in Love2d, with TileD and Aseprite.
Each play through you get randomly generated publishers to send to, harvest ideas, fight depression, and submit stories to market.
